KOMAZA is currently in the initial expansion phase of our development. We have successfully established the viability of our model and planted with many farm families, and our tree farms are beginning to yield early profits. We will use these profits and donor funding to continue to build our organization, expand its reach and improve its impact.
KOMAZA revenues will be re-invested in:
- Scaling up community tree planting
- Adding wood processing infrastructure for vertical growth
- Diversifying the social partnership with our farm families for greater impact
- Replicating our successful model for even greater scale
As our tree farms continue to mature, we will progressively build our tree processing infrastructure, which adds value to our farmers' trees. Since tree farm revenues increase with each harvest, KOMAZA's ability to include more families in our project and add greater value to their trees will improve over time.
