We are continuously seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our growing team of Project Associates. KOMAZA Project Associates are typically exceptional young professionals, college graduates and post-graduates interested in joining our team for a period of 1-2 years. Our Project Associates are self-managing, entrepreneurial people eager to help build KOMAZA's program in Kenya. Candidates with work experience in a developing country and previous relevant professional experience are preferred.
Project Associates take on a significant variety of organizational and strategic development tasks during their time with KOMAZA, and the position requires strong management skills and a high level of independence. We evaluate the applications of all interested individuals on a rolling basis. We are typically able to quickly find positions for very strong applicants that suit their talents and meet KOMAZA's needs.
KOMAZA fully reimburses or subsidizes travel and living expenses for our Project Associates and provides comprehensive medical insurance when necessary. We work with prospective applicants who plan on applying to fellowship or other sponsorship programs which they have identified.

KOMAZA offers internships at our Kenya offices on an unpaid basis. These positions are highly selective and typically filled by exceptional and very independent university students. Our interns take responsibility for important projects, which in the past have ranged from developing new operational tools to conducting program research. Prospective interns with previous experience living or working in a developing country will have an advantage in the selection process.
Internships last for a minimum of three months, with a preferred commitment of six months or more. We help our interns find accommodation and offer a small living and housing stipend, but we do not reimburse travel expenses. KOMAZA is also happy to work with interested individuals who hope to work with us through a fellowship or other sponsorship program which they have identified.
